Improving event experiences using event psychology approaches

Did you know that the shape of furniture impacts people's satisfaction with an event? That adding less content and more breaks to the agenda make people remember more? That wearing headphones while listening to a speaker make attendees like them better? That changing a few words in the email invite increase opening rates and impact ticket sales? All these insights come from psychology, behavioural science, and neuroscience.

Understanding and applying insights about human behaviour and the mind is now a must-have skill for anyone working in or with events. It makes the experience creation job easier and leads to more memorable and impactful events.

In this community meeting, you'll hear about five North Stars - fundamental behavioural science principles, the undeniable essentials that anyone embarking on an event psychology approach can easily start with.

Community meetings are exclusively for ESAE members, registrations from non-members will be disregarded.
